This is just to let members and the general public know what has transpired on our old server. I think everyone should be aware
When we moved to Elune from Baelgun, we did so to protect our raiding environment. This is after all a PVE RAIDING GUILD.
As many of you are aware, we were not able to recruit effectively on Balegun, because the pool of people there for the most part were not interested in raiding.
After a very long decision process at a high level, after discussing with many, many veterans, We made the very drastic decision to uproot our entire base, and move to Elune, in a paid transfer. I think it's been our best decision as a guild, because it returned us to a point where we could once again push PVE content without recruitment always getting in the way.
For all of you that made the initial move, I thank you. For all of you that put your trust and money into making all of this possible. Again, I thank you.
After moving, and after much discussion, we decided to leave our Guild on Baelgun intact. We thought those people who remained behind would be able to still share space with raiders alts who remained, and have green chat available to them.
The thought was that, hopefully in time they would decide to either re-roll alts on Elune, transfer over to Elune after a few weeks (some of you did), or at the very least continue to participate with us as a GUILD who participates in many different games and systems. (AoC, Warhammer 360 etc etc etc)
As some of you may or may not know, we left Direshot and Lunarkitty in charge over there, we gave them officer status and the ability to promote/demote as needed. We did not give them full GM abilities as we still wanted to maintain control of our NAME and "brand", the idea behind this of course being this wasn't a fully functioning raiding guild, but more of a home for people who stayed behind to have some sort of a bond together.
I regret to inform you that Direshot & Lunarkitty have essentially stolen the guild over there from us. Without speaking to anyone here (Dire hasn't posted here in about a year) he filed a ticket with Blizzard to have GM removed from Zoraxis and given to him. Because we don't routinely log in over there, the GM granted his request, Dire immediately demoted everyone else and seized control of the bank. He excuse was that the people who transferred to Elune were stealing from his bank and moving toons here. I asked for proof, he was unable to provide any.
Dire excuses his behaviour because in his exact words "We abandoned him" that's right, the 20+ PVE raiders that left, abandoned the 2-3 nonraiders that stayed behind. lol
Most of the Baelgun crew don't post here, haven't registered here, don't speak to us in Vent, and don't interact with us in any way shape or form (For those that do, this does not apply to you). Sure, they'll use our services (vent) but actually participate with us as a guild? Not at all. So the question remains, how are they Fight?
I posed this question to Direshot, and his answer was that it seemed like a waste, to waste 3 bank tabs. That's all he had to say, nothing of the friendships, nothing of the 4 years, nothing of respect for our wishes as a group. He just doesn't want to pay for 3 bank tabs.
I asked him, if he wanted to raid (which is one of his excuses for pulling this) why he wouldn't join us, ... he says it would cost $600 to transfer his and Lunar's toons. (lol)
I asked him why he wouldn't just post here telling us of his plan to create a raiding guild (again, much like the Warhammer people) he has no answer except to say, he feels as if his posting here causes drama.
I asked him why not just form a new guild so he can raid there, seeing as how he doesn't participate in anyway shape or form as a FIGHT member, and the only answer he could give me was the 3 bank tabs.
Finally, I asked him, if he took something he thought didn't belong to anyone, but the person found out and objected, why he wouldn't just return the item and move on. He said "Most people aren't that decent"
That final one is the straw that broke the camels back for me. He knows he stole it, he acknowledges he stole it, he knows he is being a douchbag, and he is fine with it. He doesn't care about anything but not wasting 3 bank tabs. I don't know about any of you, but my name and my reputation is worth more to me than any item in game, let alone a guild bank.
Some of you will ask, why do we care? I care because I don't like 'friends' stealing from me, regardless of the value or use of the item. The other fact is that because we were there, I don't like the potential that our name will be dragged through the mud without us holding people to certain standards. As you are all aware, I hold everyone here to certain behaviour as a guild, whether it be on our forums, wow forums, are general and trade chat.
Given Direshot and Lunarkitty's lack of ethics I loathe the fact they are walking around with a Fight tag under their name, that has any relation to what we have worked so hard to build.
We are severing any official ties to the guild on Baelgun. I'd like to get the name back, but I don't think it will happen. That's fine, it will just always serve as a reminder to them that they are thieves, and couldn't even aspire to create something of their own. They had to steal it in order to have any success at all.
That's fine they can ride our coat tails. They still won't be Fight.
