I set up my "QuickTickets" option around 8am this morning, set both PC's and even had marie trying to push for the 14500 tickets that were available online....annnnd nothing.
11:59 Hits, they post the ticket page, I have my seat preference (ANY AND ALL) listed for 2 tickets, game 2 and game 6 and BAM I GET PAST THE TRIP-UP WORD VALIDATION CRAP AND I'M GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES.....
First got to pick my seats, were already upperdeck 10 rows up, but whatever, game 2 of the series, who cares?
And of course it times out and I'm back to the beginning at 12:09, less than 10 mins after they listed.
The only fair way to do it is the way the Astros do, and that's lottery.
It's just nonsense that all the scalpers and 2nd market sellers just eat up all the tickets where the fans get screwed.
I was planning on 1k budget for the tickets hotel and flights, and now this would be triple that and with Marie and I going to Amsterdam and Brussels next month there's no point. It's just fucking dumb and insulting they use that system to push tickets out.
It stinks of conspiracy and collusion.
Oh well Sox in Six.
