I know I wasn't the most popular priest, quite in fact i was probably the topic of a lot of whisper conversations. But when it gets so bad that I have to wait a few hours just to raid even though i showed up on time, its probably best that i should leave. This game has not wholey consumed my life as it has with some of you. Its summer and frankly when i look back at what i did i dont want to know i came home every night at 7:30 and sat at my computer. If I cant even get in raid, much less even loot non LRI items, I dont need any more hints that im not wanted. Its been fun, have fun living your lives boss by boss.

I had respect for you up until now when you say "have fun living your lives boss by boss." My question is, who are you to judge people on how they spend their time? Do you know how their lives are? I do raid a lot but I don't live my life on this game and the only times I play are raids so that statement is not fair to say.

Hey, the names Benedictus and im looking for a new guild. I applied the other night so I hope my resume is up to snuff. I am keyed and have experience with all dungeons other than Naxx (although I am keyed for it). I recently left Fight, because they put me into a position where all my rights as a raider were slowly being stripped away and I would never have a chance to recover them. If you have any questions don't hesistate to ask, send me mail or a tell in game. I hope to talk to you all again in the immediate future.

No seriously. I'm going to post again on this. It really has me fired up.
This is a prime example of how our ratio system WORKS. You don't come to raids, you don't get preference on invites or loots. You get waitlisted if you're casual, you get in if you're hardcore. Fair is fair. I personally am ok with that.
I'm not always going to be LRI. But I understand that if I only showed for farm raids and for raids that had gear I wanted, I shouldn't get preference. Hell even if I had RL stuff to do (WHICH IS OK IN FIGHT - can I get a hell yeah?), I can't expect to get put in over those that are grinding it out day in and day out. I also understand that if I am out for a while, I can recover my status. Blah blah.
But that's irrelevant. What it comes down to, is a feel a sense of community and friendship here with my guild and class. I love my guild and my priestpals. I'd drop for them and I'd pass loot to them on demand. Bottom line. Selfishness bites you in the ass. Case and point right here.
Fight (especially officers), thank you for the time you dedicate to this guild.
I wash my hands of this horseshit post.

Well, I assume Neph will ask us about him and we can explain it this way. I'll spill the beans, because I was fired up when I heard about it.
After Benedictus got 8/8 (Trans), he stopped raiding. We later found out that his intentions were to only starting raiding again after we got AQ40 on farm. I quote.. "I have all the loot I need" and that he wasn't concerned with maintaining any friendships in the guild because of the whole RL vs. online.
After we found this out, we gave him the benefit of the doubt and kept him on our roster. He raided with us randomly, maintaining an attendance below 50%. While he was not raiding with us, we implemented some new raiding rules so inactive people couldn't loot over active. Benedictus, who did not even read the changes, comes on a BWL raid and is unable to go in on an item that drops off Nef, gets pissy and logs.
Later that week, he comes to a few AQ40 runs to try to build up his attendance so we can loot (oh, and it is really hard for him to do this, you need to attend 5 out of 10 raids.. man that sucks.. 5 raids? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5..) Another item drops, he gets pissed that he can't roll on it because he is inactive, and he DISCONNECTS like he always does after a boss doesnt drop what he wants. This has been the running joke with all the priests for awhile.
We later find out he dropped because he was mad that he couldn't get loot because he does not attend 50% of the raids, and we finally booted him.
To any guild who is looking to recruit this guy. Sure, he is 8/8, but that is really the extent of it. He isn't a team player, as you can see. He is only in it for the loot.
In his case though, the loot he has just makes him look pretty. I always thought better loot would equal better heals. I've been proven wrong.
So long Benedictus, and best wishes in your future of exploring World of Warcraft. I hope you find good fortune and luck in whatever guild mistakenly recruits you because they didn't read this post.

So, we're all busting our asses in AQ40, and some jackass shows up for shit that's on farm, and then complains when he can't get loot?
"Crashes" whenever we're passed bosses that he needs loot from in BWL.
Doesn't like AQ40, and doesn't want loot from there, so he skips the majority of raids instead of helping guildies.
Umm yeah, no big loss.
