OK, I'm sure everyone has heard about what has happened from someone in the guild already. I'm here to post my side of what happened. Please realize this is not meant to blame or piss off anyone.
Tuesday night I was on my girlfriend's priest with Abaccus' mage leveling up in EP. We, plus a few other guildies, were all on Ventrilo, joking and bullshitting like we usually do. We were talking about Naxx loot and if it would change when the expansion comes out due to the level of the gear and so forth. We were joking about wishlists and the like and I was joking how I want all the phat lootz. Everyone laughs and puts in some cheap wisecracks at my expense, blah blah blah. Sweety calmly says that she's here for the friendship of the guild, which we're all really here for. I make some kind of comment about how she needs to hurry up and reach 60. Everyone laughs. Then I hear Wars come in out of nowhere and say "I'm sorry you feel that way." A few seconds later, Sweety and I are deguilded, as well as my alts. Everyone on Vent thinks it's a joke and we all laugh. Then I get banned from Vent and the member part of the Fight forums. So now I'm like "WTF" and I pm the other guys that were in Vent. They were as confused as I was.
I message Wars and he tells me he was on his way to bed and heard us talking in Vent and thought I was mocking our friendship in the guild. This is clearly a misunderstanding.
Know this, I am very hurt by what has taken place here. You guys are like family to me and I have been with Fight for well over a year now. I have sacrificed a lot like many of you have and you know that I consider my friendships here the only reason I log on each night. I may talk about loot a lot, but it is not my priority. Remember the comment I made two weeks ago in our guild meeting? How friendship in the guild is the most important thing and we should strive to continue this? Yes, that was me. For me to get kicked out because I'm accused of believing in the exact opposite is not right.
Well, that's my side of the story. I'm sure there are many out there. Make of it what you will.
